Diane Angela Sterba

As an artist Diane enjoys exploring her

creativity through a wide variety of media.

She is influenced by folk art, nature and

the children and adults who she is

fortunate enough to work with at

Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts.

Her credo while doing art is

“ to have fun with it”.

As an educator, she has a Master’s

Degree in Education with over 30 years

teaching experience from Preschool

through Graduate levels. She loves

inspiring others to access their

creative self. She is also passionate

about young children learning

foreign languages, exploring other

cultures and getting out into nature.

Currently she is the Youth Program Director at Shake

Rag Alley Center for the Arts in Mineral Point, WI

(shakeragalley.com). Besides teaching and organizing

the classes for kids, she teaches classes for adults,

facilitates special art retreats and runs a weekly

Women’s Art Party where women come and play with art

‘as a process, not for the product.’

Besides art, her other passion is travel. She has

traveled throughout the U.S., Mexico, Europe, Africa, South America, New Zealand and Australia. When not doing art she is planning her next trip to explore as many places on the planet

as possible.
